Project Description
In 2015 I designed and developed this website for Kathryn Lasky, author of over 100 books for young adults. The site features her books by series, by genre; a blog, photo galleries and videos.
The back end is fully customized to make the site easy to manage for non-technical clients. Social media tools allow for easy sharing and engagement.
The front end is built on the twitter bootstrap 3 framework so it is designed to be mobile-first.

We asked Bree to redesign my wife Kathryn Lasky’s author website to make it more exciting and adaptable for phone and tablet users. She consulted with us, showed us several possible templates, and eventually designed a very lively website which shows off the books, and also makes it simple to post new blogs, link to Facebook, Twitter, etc. She made the structure easy for us to maintain and adapt as new books come out. Kathy’s editors and agents have heaped praise on the new site, and we think it is doing a much better job than our old site. We highly recommend Bree’s design abilities.
